Do you have a desire to improve your environment? Do you want a voice in developing environmental policy and programs in your community? We need your input! The District needs new members for our Policy Committee.
These are strictly volunteer positions to prepare, monitor and implement the solid waste management plan for the District. Candidates must be available to attend meetings typically held during working hours at the Solid Waste District office on Enterprise Drive in Warren, Ohio. Please submit a letter of interest and resume to jenn@startrecycling.com or mail to the District office at 5138 Enterprise Drive Warren, Ohio 44481. Deadline to submit letter of interest and resume is August 31, 2022.

About Geauga-Trumbull SWMD
The Geauga-Trumbull Solid Waste Management District, created in 1993, is responsible for implementing the Ohio EPA’s solid waste goals for waste reduction, recycling, and reducing reliance on landfills. Funding for the District is received through contract fees with landfills and transfer stations receiving waste from Geauga and Trumbull County residents and businesses. The District provides programs and services that include drop-off recycling locations, litter cleanups, special collections for household hazardous waste, electronics, scrap tires, and appliances, and other environmental programs.
