They’re in your yard, your house and your bathtub, but there’s no reason to be afraid!
Increase your knowledge and ease your fears about spiders with two great programs on Sunday, September 27, at The West Woods.
Nature Knowledge: Spiders will be from 2 to 2:45 p.m., and a Spider Search will take place from 3 to 4 p.m.
First, we’ll bulk up your understanding of spiders with some education, pictures and anecdotes from naturalist and spider enthusiast Nora Sindelar. Then, we’ll grab some nets and head outside to search and scoop for spiders in the forests, meadows and all around – an activity which is always fun for all ages!
Attendance is not required at either program to attend the other, nor is registration required for either program – just show up!
