Because you love to see them so much, here’s your chance to take a naturalist-led ride on The Maple Highlands Trail to escort little snakes, frogs, woolly bear caterpillars and other small creatures out of harm’s way.
When a bike is coming, our beloved little creatures have not time to dilly-dally – they have to move. Help us help them by joining GPD for an Animals on the Asphalt Rescue Ride on Saturday, Sept. 19, from 1 to 3 p.m. at Mountain Run Station, 12601 Chardon-Windsor Road, Hambden Twp.
Registration is not required for this ride, which will not be wheelchair/stroller accessible. Please call 440-286-9516 with questions.
