Horse-Drawn Hayrides and Pink and Blue Pumpkins!

Fall is finally in the air, and what better way to enter the season than on a horse drawn hayride at Ma and Pa’s Gift Shack! Starting on September 22 and running through October 28, you can enjoy the weekend with your family, sweetheart, or friends on the beautifully groomed trails located behind the 1820s log cabin. Enjoy the autumn colors and take in all the scents and sounds of the backwoods as you bump along in your cozy comfy seat. When you get back, buy one of Ma and Pa’s very own homegrown pink, blue, white or orange pumpkins for the kids (or yourself), and you can paint it right there for FREE. Of course, you can take it home, too, for fall decorating. Ma supplies the goodies – apple cider and donuts (made by Ma herself!) And while the kiddos paint their pumpkins, you can shop in their store for some very unique American made gifts that you won’t find anywhere else.

For those who enjoy the dark, reserve a Saturday night hay ride instead. The woods do look a little different at night! Kids get free glow necklaces on these excursions to brighten things up a bit. Rides go until 9 p.m. on Saturday when horses must retire for the night. Prices very according to times and are very reasonable. You can check their website HERE or call Ma and Pa to book your times.

Start making memories by adding a hayride to your annual fall calendar at Ma and Pa’s Gift Shack!
