Ever wonder what invasive plants are lurking in your neighborhood and threatening your parks? Join land stewards from Geauga Park District’s Natural Resource Management Department to find out!
What: Fighting Off the Invaders: Invasive Plants!
When: Friday, July 15 – 7 to 8 p.m.
Where: Big Creek Park, Donald W. Meyer Center, Cherry Room, 9160 Robinson Road, Chardon
This evening presentation will include some invasive plant background, some identification and some control options by Geauga Park District’s trusted invasive plant specialists.
Also feel free to bring in a picture of your yard’s unknown invading plant for identification so that you can learn what can be done to stop its spread.
Refreshments will be provided. This facility is fully wheelchair/stroller accessible.
