If your child will be 5-years old by August 1, he/she is eligible to attend Chardon Kindergarten.
We ask that you schedule an appointment with the Chardon elementary school your child will be attending. If you are unsure of what school your child will be attending, please call our Transportation Dept. at 440-285-4069. This appointment will take approximately fifteen minutes.
You must bring your child’s birth certificate (original), one proof of residency (e.g. deed, completed rental/purchase agreement, tax statement – property tax, building permit, completion of Residency Affidavit Form, or completion of Residency Verification Form), immunization records and any legal documents pertaining to family situations (i.e. guardianship, custody) to your registration.
It is permissible, but not necessary, for you to bring your child to registration.
