The Kiwanis Club of Chardon is pleased to announce the return of the Corn Roast on the Historic Chardon Square. The Corn Roast is held each year to celebrate the bounty of the growing season.
The fifth annual Corn Roast will take place September 8, from noon to 6 p.m. on the Historic Chardon Square. The event will feature entertainment, an auction, and corn from hometown favorite Sage’s Apples.
All proceeds raised from the Corn Roast will go to support scholarships and other programs the club supports every year in the greater Chardon area to help our community.
“What is better than coming out on a nice fall day to enjoy the taste of locally grown corn,” said event chairperson and member of the club Jim Rayl. “Even better than a wonderful nice afternoon with your family, you can go home knowing you helped your community.”
The Kiwanis Club of Chardon would like to invite you to this magnificent event. For more information about the Corn Roast or Kiwanis, please visit us online or call 440-537-7316.
