The Kiwanis Club of Chardon is pleased to announce the return of the Corn Roast on the Historic Chardon Square. The Corn Roast is held each year to celebrate the bounty of the growing season and to help raise money to support the scholarships and other charitable programs offered by the club.
The seventh annual Corn Roast will take place August 30, from 11 a.m. to 5 p.m. on the Historic Chardon Square. The event will feature entertainment, a silent auction, and best of all fresh corn from hometown favorite Sage’s Apples.
“The money raised through the corn roast will go to help our club serve our community,” said club member and event chairman Jim Rayl. “What is better than a wonderful afternoon with your family, some local corn, and going home knowing you helped your community.”
The Kiwanis Club of Chardon would like to invite you to this annual, splendid event. For more information about the Corn Roast or the Kiwanis, please visit our website or call 440-537-4718.
