John Hindman from Tooling U-SME is scheduled to speak at GEL (Geauga Economic Leadership) on Friday March 7, 2014.
Tooling U-SME is the industry leader in manufacturing training. For more than 80 years, they have worked with manufacturers to build training programs and support workforce learning initiatives.
John Hindman is the Professional Services Manager at Tooling U-SME. Mr. Hindman serves as the Director of Professional Services and the Senior Instructional Designer responsible for the strategic planning, design, and implementation of learning and development frameworks. He brings to Tooling U-SME over 15 years of developing learning programs for the manufacturing community, ten years of which he led co-developed training frameworks shared by union and company organizations. In addition, he has designed and developed certification and learning programs across the Department of Defense (DoD) and other government agencies.
His efforts involve best practices from the instructional design and organizational development communities. He has been active in several job analysis, program design, and training implementation projects for Ford, Chrysler, Harley-Davidson, Kenworth, Westinghouse, Mercury Marine and many more.
Geauga Economic Leadership (GEL) is a series of breakfast meetings hosted by Kent State University Geauga Campus to foster a heightened awareness of business, industry, and public services present in Geauga County and to facilitate networking among the members of those sectors. Anyone working or living in Geauga County will benefit from learning more about the County’s employers and services.
