Kenston School News

Welcome to the Kenston Family

We welcome our new faculty members to the Kenston family. They filled positions created by retirements, resignations, or extended leaves.

We look forward to the talents and dedication of our faculty and staff as they work to design lessons that are challenging, interesting, and satisfying. Pictured are: (back row, l-r) Bethany Hussong (Kenston High School Counselor), Joe Brahler (Kenston Middle School Math Teacher) and Andrea Mikolajczyk (Kenston Middle School Chorus Teacher); (front row, l-r) Stephanie Davis (Kenston Intermediate School Academic Tutor), Ashley Derecskey (Timmons Elementary School ½ Day Kindergarten teacher) and Stephanie Tutkovics (Timmons Elementary School Counselor).

How does your garden grow?

At the end of May, every third grader was given a basil plant to grow at home as part of a contest sponsored by Kenston’s Giving Garden Club. In early August, students submitted pictures of their plants. Our randomly selected winners were (l-r): Gracyn Neal, Emily Weiner, Aiden Pishko, and Isaac Massee. Thank you to Bonnie Plants for donating the basil plants for the contest.

Back to School with Billy the Bomber

Kenston mascot Billy the Bomber and Interim Superintendent Mr. Steve Sayers were excited to greet students as they returned to the building to meet their teachers before the start of school.
