Learn how glaciers changed Geauga’s landscape during a presentation by Naturalist Dan Best the afternoon of Saturday, August 17th.

From 12:30 p.m. to 1:45 p.m. at The West Woods Nature Center, What the Ice Age Did to Geauga County will give you eye-opening awareness of the glacial makeover of Geauga, with changes wrought on the landscape and their effects on the local economy. Learn how glaciers changed Geauga’s landscape with buried valleys and glacial lakes and provided our soils, sand and gravel resources and high-yield aquifers.

No registration is required for this program. The West Woods is located at 9465 Kinsman Road (Route 87) in Russell Township.
