Need a break from the weekly grind, ladies? Schedule some time for yourself to relax in the park with yoga, high ropes, hiking, biking and a fun and informative pollinator “class and craft” at our annual summer Nature Break: Women’s Retreat on Saturday, August 17th, from 8:30 a.m. to 1:00 p.m.
Your morning at scenic Claridon Woodlands will begin with a light continental breakfast. Retreat time includes your choice of yoga led by certified yoga instructor Mary Ann Sedivy, our high ropes course, a leisurely bike ride (bikes provided), hiking and a session about pollinators highlighting bees and honey!
Of course you may also choose to spend some of your time simply sitting near the lake and enjoying the view, binoculars provided. Finally, end your morning with a pizza and salad lunch, also provided, among friends old or new.
Please dress in layers with comfortable clothes for being outside, and if you plan to do yoga, please bring a mat or beach towel.
Spots are filling fast, so don’t delay to register and pay the required $8 for lunch (or $10 out-of-county) at www.geaugaparkdistrict.org or 440-286-9516. Only females school age and up, please. Some activities will not be wheelchair accessible. Feel free to call with any other questions about this morning of relaxation before you commit.
