Offering a local shopping opportunity in one of the county’s most popular parks, Geauga Park District’s West Woods Wednesdays Farm Market has returned this summer to the second Wednesday of each month – a one-stop shop for all your mid-week, farm-fresh needs.
Make sure your calendars are marked for this year’s remaining two farm markets, August 14th and September 11th, both 4:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m.
In addition to vendors providing all kinds of locally made/grown items, strolling musicians will provide ambient music – Jesse Hugh in August, Rebecca Wohlever in September – and an onsite food truck will sell snack and dinner options. Come out after work and make it an evening in the park!
Approved vendors are already excited to bring you their vegetables, artisan bread, eggs, pork, turkey, flowers, herbs, nuts, wallets, candles, metal items, baked goods, purses and totebags, upcycled crochet rugs and bags, maple syrup, maple candy, caramel corn and more. A complete list of the next market’s vendors can be found the week of the market at http://bit.ly/gpdspecial.
Are you a farm market vendor, or do you know one? Geauga Park District will continue to accept applications as long as there’s space. Please visit http://bit.ly/gpdspecial to find a link for the 2019 vendor application.
