Horseback Moonlight Ride

Bring your own horse for this leisurely naturalist-led ride to experience the sights and sounds of autumn by the light of the full Hunter Moon. This 4-mile ride on the Buckeye and Maple Bridle Trails provides the possibility of sight or sound of twilight-active wildlife. Hills, gravel, bridge and stream crossings should be anticipated. Helmets encouraged. Please bring a shovel to clean up after your horse in the parking lot. Registration is limited. Please let us know if you must cancel in consideration for the waiting list.

Guided experiences are less common. But two leisurely, naturalist-led rides have been scheduled for Headwaters Park this October, and registration is now open online or 440-286-9516 to attend.
