NDES Power of the Pen Team Qualifies for State Finals

On Saturday, April 11, the NDES 7^th and 8^th grade Power of the Pen team participated in the Hudson Regional Tournament along with 180 students from 32 schools within the area.

The NDES team placed 4^th overall. The 7^th grade team was awarded a 3^rd place trophy and 8^th grade Power of the Pen team members Abby Schmid, Gabriella Mulchin and Sophia Filipiak qualified for the Power of the Pen State Finals which will be held at the College of Wooster on May 21 – 22, 2015.
