The Geauga Fresh Farmers Market is proud to announce the opening of their new winter market located in Lowe’s Greenhouse Florist and Gift Shop on Chillicothe Road in Bainbridge.
The market will run from 9 a.m. – noon every Saturday from Jan. 2 through March 12.
This new winter market will offer many of the same fresh, local, quality products and a few new ones that this market is known for. Approximately twenty vendors will participate with items like: grass-fed ground beef, conventionally raised beef, local pork, artisan and nitrate-free bacon and free-range eggs. Want to know how your food is raised, harvested and brought to you? Come and meet the farmers as they will be there to present their products.
Fresh produce could include greens, dried and fresh herbs, root vegetables and micro-greens. Honey, maple syrup, pickles, fresh ground peanut and almond butters and whole and fresh ground coffee beans will be available.
Homemade bakery including dairy-free and gluten-free options, pastries and candy will fill our Bakery section. Alpaca fibers and products, artisan apparel, value-added items and soaps and lotions will also be offered.
There will be new vendors as well as many of the vendors from our summer market in South Russell: BB Farms, Harvest Bell Farm, Sirna’s Farm and Farm Market, Bat Barn Farm, Sandee River Farm, Geauga Artisan Bacon, Aurora Farm Honey, Heartwood Roastery and Silver Rose Alpaca Farm.
