New Season Best Time for Girls Cross Country

 Soccer

The Huskies soccer team lost a tough game vs Beachwood 3-2 on Tuesday and rebounded with an exciting 5-0 win over Grand Valley on Thursday on Senior Night.

Cross Country

The girls team placed 19 out of 37 teams on Saturday at the Boardman Invitational. The girls lowered their average times to a new season best time with 7 of the 8 girls running season best times. Having strong races for the girls were Emily Kruse, Jordan Zenisek, Samantha Palla, and Shelby Miller.

The boys team placed 22 out of 42 on Saturday. The boys were aided by the strong running of Alec Wolff and Christian Norieka who teamed with Josh Minnick to move the boys up in the race.

Volleyball

The Volleyball team had two wins this week, over Fairport and Newbury. The Huskies begin the second round of CVC Valley Division play with games against Painesville Harvey and arch-rival Berkshire.

Football

The football team improved to 2-1 with a 34-3 win at Ledgemont last week. Pete Ribar rushed for 165 yards and a touchdown on 10 carries and Justin McClain threw for 3 touchdown passes.  The Huskies defense held Ledgemont to just 179 total yards.
