Top 15 Honored
Kenston Academic Boosters honored the Top 15 Senior Scholars (16 with tie) and the educator who had a special impact on their Kenston career. Students being honored were Isaac Cooper, Onur Kardzhala, Kaitlin McGrath, Paige Palmer, Samuel Kiley, Ellen Model, Will Mulhern, Evan Frank, Lauren Whiteford, Grace Adams, Erica Belfi, Jenna Barrett, Lauren Obman, Katherine Powell, Mira Grcevich and Garrett Scocos. Educators honored were Mrs. Bonnie Bernstein, Mrs. Wendy Bularz, Mrs. Nicole Costigan, Mrs. Kristine Edwards, Mr. Raymond Kimpton, Mr. Gregory Koltas, Mr. Ted Krejsa Mr. Jeffery Link, Mrs. Jamie Moone, Mr. Troy Ray, Mrs. Abra Schweickert, Mr. Robert Segulin, Mrs. Anissa Smith, Mrs. Brenda Wahl, Mrs. Shannon Wirthwein and Mrs. Pamela Zeigler.
Bomber Bash Donates to A Kid Again
Kenston High School Bomber Bash, an overnight dance marathon, raised $2,000 for the Kid Again Foundation. Members of the organizing committee recently presented a check to the organization.
KMS Students of the Month
Kenston Middle School is pleased to announce their Students of the Month. Students selected for Student of the Month honors are sixth graders, Sophia Lowe, Jayme O’Neill, Robert Phillips and Zach Reiser; seventh graders, Alex Bayus, Seth Brown, Abby Morgan and Jenna Strectch; and eighth graders, Josh Cleary, James Magee, Halle Preneta, Tommy Roche and Grace Spehn.
Invention Convention
Aspiring 5th grade inventors from Kenston Intermediate School brought their solutions to everyday problems to the 2017 Invention Convention. Judges from Rockwell Automation awarded ribbons to the top ten projects. The students who created these projects will be invited to participate in a day at Rockwell Automation.
AfterProm Preview
On Saturday, April 29th from 8:00 p.m. – 10:00 p.m. at Kenston High School, the Kenston Community is invited to preview AfterProm. AfterProm is a long standing tradition at Kenston to provide supervised party for Juniors and Seniors after the Prom. Community volunteers have worked all year to provide this safe and memorable event for our students.
