Northeast Ohio Author Rachele Alpine Holds Publishing Workshop at Geauga County Public Library’s Chardon Branch

Rachele Alpine visits the Club Ink Writing Workshop at the Chardon Branch Wednesday, July 5th, 7:00 p.m. to discuss the steps taken by a writer interested in publication by a traditional publisher. Alpine is an author from Northeast Ohio who has written middle-grade and young adult works including You Throw Like a Girl, A Void the Size of the World, and others. A self-proclaimed lover of sushi, busting a move on the dance floor, and Michael Jackson, Alpine is a high-school English teacher, wife, and mom on top of her writing career. One of Alpine’s first jobs was at a library, which didn’t last long due to her habit of hiding behind book stacks and reading. Alpine returns to the library to address aspects of the publication process such as finding an agent, writing a query letter, and more. Limited seating. Registration required.
