Acting as cast members from the novel, Outsiders, eighth grade students in Honors English Language Arts at Notre Dame Elementary “freeze” a moment of time. While holding this still shot, a narrator provides a back drop of this significant scene and its importance to the plot of the story.

Notre Dame Elementary School fifth grade social studies students are using iPads and working in groups to research the coordinates of NFL team cities. Eventually, students will document the data and then apply their knowledge of latitude and longitude as they plot those coordinates on an enlarged map.
