The residents of Burton Health Care Center, a Skilled Nursing and Rehab Facility, have not only enjoyed watching the 2014 Sochi Winter Olympics on television, they also had a little competition of their own.
In keeping with the spirit of the Winter Olympics, Michele Gordon, Activities Director, planned an exciting week for the residents. They participated in Competitive Bean Bag Toss, Olympic Trivia, BINGO, Table Top Horse Racing, and Bowling. All of the events took place in the spacious Main Dining Room. The resident athletes had a good time competing for the medals and their place in the winner’s photo.
A special thank you goes out to Brehm Trophy in Warren, OH for donating the medals and to our activities volunteers who provided extra excitement and helped the games run smoothly.
