Ow’ll See You at the Jewelry Bar!

 Hoots for Origami Owl

I just now typed this into Google Search to see what would come up: work from home and have fun.

The page is FULL of results – many with those exact words.

How often do you see this? Even more important – how often do you actually believe it? How many of you have even tried a few of these? I confess – I have looked at several and even tried some – all to no avail and with a loss of some money, too.

I pretty much wrote them off as scams or realized they would take so much effort and sales-pitching that I would be doing everything BUT having fun!

UNTIL I MET CANDACE!

Candace Holland has a very bubbly personality and lives right here in Geauga County in Burton. She has three young children, is a stay-at-home mom, and is working from home and really having fun! Origami Owl is the company and making your own jewelry is the product. And she is having a hoot!

“I actually had only heard of Origami Owl once in an overheard conversation,” shares Candace. “I didn’t know anything about it, so I googled the company and fell in love with the idea of creating a personal piece of jewelry.

I actually had only heard of Origami Owl once in an overheard conversation,” shares Candace. “I didn’t know anything about it, so I googled the company and fell in love with the idea of creating a personal piece of jewelry. I also noticed that you could “join the team” so I gave it a shot! I did a little research and learned that this company was only two years old and started by a 14 year old! Wow! I thought it was a perfect opportunity to start in a business on the ground floor and begin with a company not many had heard of in this area.

Autism

Candace loves being a stay-at-home mom, yet a little ‘me’ time and fellowship with other ladies is certainly far from selfish, as those of you moms out there know! “I have only been with Origami Owl for two months now and I absolutely love it. It has given me the freedom to make my own hours, make a little extra money, and have a ton of fun selling a product that has some personal meaning behind it!

The particular type of jewelry that Candace sells is called the Living Locket – a locket that tells a story – and that story is yours! “Our lockets are really an extension of you. With Origami Owl, you get to create personalized jewelry on a price point that won’t break the bank.” In 5 simple (and fun!) steps, you will create something so totally unique, that it screams – “this is me!”

Tell me your story

Step 1: Select the CHARMS that tell your story or represent things you love

Step 2: Choose a LOCKET

Step 3: Choose a CHAIN

Step 4: Add a hand-stamped metal PLATE

Step 5: Add a DANGLE (or two!)

Another aspect that Candace loves about the company are her fellow Independent Designers who range from girls as young as 14 to women who are well into their golden years. “Mother-daughter teams are very common, and I actually work alongside my own mom – we are a team!” What a wonderful family centered adventure she has discovered!

Dare to Dream

Jewelry bars (as they call their parties) are so much fun because we get to help each other think of the perfect charms to define or explain each person’s story.

The best part about selling this product has been listening to the stories behind each one-of-a-kind Living Locket. “Everyone has such a unique story and reasons to why they put certain charms into their locket. Jewelry bars (as they call their parties) are so much fun because we get to help each other think of the perfect charms to define or explain each person’s story.” It can be very difficult for some people to share things about themselves. I can’t think of an easier way to develop fast meaningful friendships than to take the focus off oneself and place it onto the special locket you are creating. I bet these ‘bars’ naturally serve as therapy without even knowing it!

Origami Owl has allowed this stay-at-home mom to escape once in a while and have fun getting together with some girlfriends – and make a little bit of extra money in the process! “There are so many amazing stories of Independent Designers who have been able to pay off debt, leave their jobs, help someone in need, or earn extra spending money.” And although that sounds so over-used and cliché, I now believe it! Why? Because Candace is from Geauga County, and you can talk to her yourself and learn the truth behind the tale!

Peace,love,happiness

Why not host a ‘jewelry bar’ in your home?

Readers can call me directly, email me, or visit my Facebook page where they will see a tab: host a party. At every jewelry bar, each customer will get to design their own locket. I have some samples to show, and I’m always there to help if someone needs some creative inspiration! I can’t stress how much fun we all have at each jewelry bar!
