The Red Key Network is proud to announce it is has been approved as a public charity with tax-exempt status under Section 501(c)(3) of the United States Internal Revenue Code. Contributions donated to Red Key Network are fully tax-deductible retroactive to February 2012. Red Key Network is also now eligible to apply for government and foundation grants, as well as build alliances with complementary organizations. This achievement will further broaden its access to resources and strengthen its ability to empower women by supporting them in their business endeavors.
This achievement has been a long time in the making and is the result of a winning team effort. Carol Peter, Board Chairperson said, “Allow me this personal reflection on how excited and optimistic I am for the Red Key Network. Just three years old, the Red Key Network is accomplishing so many wonderful milestones: our strategic planning process to map our future via a grant from the Lake-Geauga Foundation; our nonprofit status approval; growing membership, and an engaged, enthusiastic membership base. The Red Key Network is poised to make a meaningful, positive impact on the women and economy of Geauga County.”
The IRS letter granting the Red Key Network its 501(c)(3) tax-exempt status is available upon request. Donation inquiries can be sent to Details@RedKeyNetwork.org.
