Relax While You Learn at Sunday Afternoon Armchair Birding at The West Woods

Learn which are locals, which are just visiting, and how to provide for them all. Some birds are residents in Geauga County, while others just visit during the winter.

Relax while you learn which are which, and how to provide for them all, at Sunday Afternoon Armchair Birding on Sunday, November 12th, 2:00 p.m. to 3:30 p.m. at The West Woods in Russell Township.

After we’ve finished our presentation, you’ll definitely want to pull up a chair in the lobby, with its full-wall feeding station view, and enjoy some hot chocolate while casually bird-watching with a naturalist.

The Bird in the Hand Feeding Station will also be available for those who’d like venture outside and invite a chickadee to take some seed from their hands. This option would be the only portion of the program that is not wheelchair/stroller accessible.

Registration is not required for this program, geared to those school aged and older. Just call 440-286-9516 with questions.
