Rescue Village is launching a new Pet Food Pantry program that will be open to the public beginning this Friday, January 25th. This program will help to assist families who have fallen on hard times and are struggling to provide food for their pet(s).
Rescue Village would like to especially welcome people affected by the government shut down in their time of need but this program is also open to any individual struggling to provide food for their pets. Proof of eligibility is not required.
Cat and dog food will be available on a first-come, first-served basis to anyone who expresses a need. Rescue Village believes that tight financial times should not break the bonds of love and companionship between people and their companion animals.
Food pick up will generally be available on Fridays from 10:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. beginning Friday, January 25th but we ask that you please contact us to make arrangements to pick up your food by emailing intake@rescuevillage.org or calling (440) 338-4819 x1.
Because this program is entirely driven by donations, we cannot guarantee that food is always available or that you will have your choice of pet food brands. Learn more about this program by visiting: https://www.rescuevillage.org/pet-pantry/
