Geauga Humane Society’s Rescue Villages’ mission is to shelter and find homes for sick, injured, abused, and abandoned domestic animals that have no other alternatives. They foster compassion for all living things through education, to reduce pet overpopulation through spay/neuter programs and to prevent cruelty by enforcing animal protection laws.
This week Rescue Village would like for you to meet two special pets that are in need of adoption.
Meet Nakita
Nakita may be a senior dog but she has so much life to live and love to give. She is a sweet girl that is looking to live her golden years in her FOREVER home. Nakita is an 11-year-old Chow Chow mix that can be adopted at Rescue Village. Since she is a senior dog, her adoption fee is “Name Your Price,” but we promise that the love she will give you is priceless!
Meet Ruffles
This is our boy, Ruffles. He is an 8-year-old Domestic Longhair mix that is looking for a place to call his own. He was found as a stray during the cold winter and brought to Rescue Village. Ruffles has an independent, loving and playful personality that is sure to charm you. Come meet Ruffles today at Rescue Village! Ruffles’s adoption fee is only $5…that leaves you plenty of money to purchase toys, treats and fun things to spoil him with!
