SEE why Geauga Vision is so popular!
Geauga Vision originated in Thompson, Ohio and shortly after made the move to downtown Middlefield, Ohio. It has been a successful business for 20 plus years since. An ever growing business, Geauga Vision of Chardon was added in 2001, Geauga Vision of Chagrin in 2006, and then Geauga Vision of Garrettsville in 2009. Each location focuses on personal customer service, trendy frame selections, and cutting edge lens technology, making your optical experience at Geauga Vision a wonderful one.
Geauga Vision in Middlefield has grown to be the center of the business. Located at 14901 North State Ave., the Middlefield location houses our in house lab, along with thousands of frames. Thomas Reiter, lab manager, and Jeff Taylor, lab technician, hand edge, and craft each and every pair of glasses. The lens materials come from Florida, arrive in the lab, where Thomas and Jeff edge, finish, and assemble them with the help of state of the art, CNC edging machine. Some might say that the office sounds much like that of a dental office; however, that is the sound of lenses being fabricated. While many chain optical stores now send their work oversees to be made, often resulting in wait times as long as 2-3 weeks, Geauga Vision is able to make most single vision glasses the same day as your eye examination. Do you ever need your glasses within an hour, or quickly before your vacation? Geauga Vision has all of your needs met!
Geauga Vision of Chardon is located in the county seat, just down the hill from the court house at 301 Center Street (Cherry Center). This store also features an in house lab. Geauga Vision of Chardon offers a fabulous selection of frames, including exclusives found only at Geauga Vision. Paul Barkley, one of only three Ophthalmic Opticians in the state, is known for his uncompromising standards to quality and attention to detail.
Geauga Vision of Chagrin is located at 512 Washington Street next to the Hunan Restaurant. This office recently added a Santinelli CNC edging system. Now, residents of Chagrin Falls and surrounding areas will also be able to often get their glasses made while they wait. Sarah Mancino, also an Ophthalmic Optician, focuses on having a designer frame selection. Kala, handmade in California, is a very exclusive product to Geauga Vision of Chagrin. Much like Middlefield and Chardon, Chagrin offers many made-in-the-USA products.
Geauga Vision of Garrettsville, located at 8106 Main Street, is one of the only optical offices in the United States that allows fishing from the waiting room! Located on Silver Creek just above the falls, this office has a deck that extends over the water, allowing visitors to feed the ducks and fish. Aside from the wildlife, Garrettsville offers a wide array of stylish frames. Wiley X, an optical product used by our armed forces, is offered here as well as in Middlefield.
All of the Geauga Vision locations are full service optical stores. Operations manager Courtney Bevington oversees all of the offices. Each offers eye exams by independent doctors of optometry and accept most insurances. Geauga Vision’s goal is to strive to meet the needs of each of their patients. They provide excellent customer service and products. Stop in and see them today!
