This special event is free to the public!

Visiting Santa Claus at the Geauga Lyric Theater on the square in Chardon has become a family holiday tradition for many. Santa will greet visitors of all ages from 10:00 am to 1:00 pm on Saturday, December 10th.

Santa is the main event, but families can also make holiday crafts; decorate cookies, make an ornament for a gift, create an eatable necklace, play Christmas bingo and more! Local artist Rachel Parks will be face painting this year.

“This is one of our favorite events,” states Julie Douglass, coordinator of the annual program which is in its twelfth year. “It is such a joy to see Santa spend quality time with each child. The atmosphere is festive and relaxed. Many families return year after year to spend an hour or more enjoying the holiday spirit with their children.” Santa at the Theater is offered free to the community by GLTG, with help from Just 4 Kidz., a quality childcare facility with two locations in the Chardon area.

Visitors are encouraged to bring their cameras for photos with Santa. The Geauga Lyric Theater is located at 101 Water Street on the historic Chardon square. For more information about programs offered at GLTG, visit our website at GeaugaTheater.org.
