What changes in the gas and oil industry are currently taking place and how will those changes affect you and your business in Geauga County?

Geauga Growth Partnership presents a panel of experts from McDonald Hopkins, a business advisory and advocacy law firm, who will provide updates on the state of the Shale industry and how declining oil prices may have economic impacts on jobs, company infrastructure and more. This free presentation will take place Tuesday, March 17, 8:00 – 9:30 AM (7:30 registration) at Kent State University in Geauga. To register, visit http://ggp-shale-prgm-mar17.eventbrite.com.

The panel will present an open forum with focus on the industry, macro- and micro-economics, and what may be going on in Geauga County, Northeast Ohio, Utica, nationally and internationally.

“This is a compelling issue that has potential impacts – positive and negative – on our area businesses and residents,” says Tracy Jemison, President of Geauga Growth Partnership. “It is important that we provide opportunities like this to keep the community up to date on the Shale industry and its impacts.”

Presenters are attorneys Jeffrey R. Wise, Co-Chair of the firm’s Energy Practice Group and prior Chairman of the Firm’s Government Group; Scott N.
