Spring Scout Days at Geauga Park District

Attention scouts and parents of scouts, Geauga Park District’s spring Scout Days programs are here, and registration is now open for all of them at www.geaugaparkdistrict.org or 440-286-9516.

On Saturday, May 4th, Girl Scouts and Boy Scouts will have a chance to put their scouting skills to the test at Chickagami Park, practicing fire building, orienteering, outdoor cooking and knot tying as they work toward making a delicious campfire treat. Cadette, Senior and Ambassador Girl Scouts will participate from 9:00 a.m. to noon, followed by Boy Scouts in grades 5 through 12 from 1:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m.

Then, for Boy Scouts on June 12th from 7:00 p.m. to 10:30 p.m. at Observatory Park, Geauga Park District will be pleased to offer the BSA Astronomy Merit Badge. Pre-work will be required, with more information sent upon registration, and an astronomy  Merit Badge Counselor will be on site to help complete the process.
