Hound Hikes scheduled to get you and your pooch back outdoors
After our long, cold winter, it’s unlikely your dog will let you stay inside much longer.
Why not direct your outdoor exploration to Geauga Park District, resuming its popular Hound Hike series in April, May, and June!
This spring’s W-A-L-K-S are:
- Saturday, April 19, from 10 to 11:30 a.m. at Headwaters Park, 13365 Old State Road (Rt. 608) in Huntsburg Township
- Monday, May 19, from 6:30 to 9 p.m. at Orchard Hills Park, 11340 Caves Road in Chesterland
- Saturday, June 21, from 10 to 11:30 a.m. at Frohring Meadows, 16780 Savage Road in Bainbridge Township
Registration is required for these all-ages programs online or 440-286-9516. Please bring your own dog towels, water bowl, poop scoop, and bags for clean-up. Only one non-aggressive dog per handler, who must be able to fully control dog on leash at all times (8 ft. max).
No bones about it – a good time will be had by all.
