The Chardon Community Action Team Announces the Return of the Car & Motorcycle Show on August 19

The Chardon Community Action Team is pleased to announce the return of our Car and Motorcycle Show. The show, in its 19th year, is held each year to provide a fun event for families, residents, and car and motorcycle enthusiasts. We would like to thank our Supercharged Sponsors the Chardon Square Association, Kuhnler Bros Inc, and Ordinance Technology Service.

The Car and Motorcycle Show will take place on August 19th from 12:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m. on the Historic Chardon  Square. Starting off the day, the “Legacy” will be playing music from the 50s, 60s, and Motown for which they have become known in Northeast Ohio. In addition, there will be more than 100 classic or hot rod cars and motorcycles on display, a Chinese auction, a 50/50 raffle. We are excited to announce that breakfast and lunch will be served by the Hunger Squad from their food truck. Most of the activities, throughout the day, are free and those that do have a cost are economically priced, so everyone can enjoy.

“When the Chardon Community Action Team started the Annual Car and Motorcycle Show 19 years ago, we wanted to create a fun family event on the Chardon Square,” said Matt Petersen, Chairman of the Car and Motorcycle Show. “There is no better way for the whole family to have a good time while helping to support a group focused on keeping youth drug free.”

Everyone is encouraged to attend and enjoy the classics, modified, hot rod cars and motorcycles, good old-fashioned food, and many other fun activities for the whole family. All monies raised will be used to support the mission of CCAT to lower the use of tobacco, alcohol, and drugs in our youth through education and community events for youth and their families. Registrations are still being accepted for cars and motorcycles, which will be professionally judged. For more information about the day or to register your car or motorcycle, please visit CCAT or call 440-537-7316.
