The Chardon Square Association is hosting “Home for the Holidays” on Saturday, December 13.

Many local merchants, on and off Chardon Square, will be featuring open houses on this day as a way to invite you to the country for a unique holiday experience.
The day’s festivities begin with a Breakfast with Santa at Pilgrim Christian Church, located at 202 South Hambden Street, from 9:00 am -11:00am. Pictures with Santa will be available to purchase.
A Gingerbread House Contest, made by individuals and professionals, will be on display at The Nest, located at 520 Water Street.
Take a stroll down Christmas Tree Alley, in the park, while listening to holiday music. Take the opportunity to visit the many local shops and restaurants that will be featuring special sales, offers, and refreshments.
Carriage Rides around the square will be available from 11:00 AM to 7:00 PM, and are free of charge. The carriage can be accessed at Antiques on the Square, and The Carriage Trade Boutique.
The park will be lit with thousands of twinkling lights, and the Geauga Lyric Theater will be featuring Annie Warbucks.
Each participant will be collecting food and/or personal care products, to be donated to area food pantries. A list of desired items will be available.
Home for the Holidays provides a wonderful opportunity to make those special memories with your family, and, give back to those in need. Please come join us!
