Join a naturalist to learn the nocturnal secrets of Headwaters Park
Gather around the blazing campfire for a story or two, then journey into the darkness to experience the magical world of nature at night! Naturalist John Kolar is eager to lead you on Part Three of Geauga Park District’s seasonal campfire/night hike series exploring nocturnal Geauga.
What: Summer Campfire & Night Hike
When: Friday, August 2 – 8:30 to 10 p.m.
Where: Headwaters Park, Boathouse Area
13365 Old State Road (Route 608), Huntsburg/Claridon Townships
“Mammal and insect sounds, or maybe even the hoot of a Great Horned Owl, might be heard along the trail,” said Naturalist John Kolar. “Who knows what amazing things we’ll discover!”
This all-ages program is partially wheelchair/stroller accessible; night hiking will not be accessible. Registration is not required. With questions, call 440-286-9516.
