On Tuesday evening, July 16, artist, photographer, and crafter Cyndi Konopka will share her nature-inspired work with the Geauga Arts Network Group (GANG). Host for the evening will be Jeanne Brodie.
This educational program, which is free and open to the general public, will take place from 6:30 to 8 p.m. at Heinen’s Cafe, 402 Center Street in Chardon, Ohio. No reservations are necessary.
Konopka is a Geauga County resident whose work includes photography, artworks made of recycled glass, and highly artistic bird feeders. She was top in her class at the Cleveland Institute of Art, majoring in photography and design, and currently works as a professional photographer and videographer.
With a keen interest in nature and environmental stewardship, Konopka uses recycled objects in her artwork and has a life-goal of living completely “off the grid.” Her hobbies include animal rescue, beekeeping, sewing, and gardening.
The Geauga Arts Network Group is an ad hoc group whose mission is to promote communication, collaboration, and cooperation across artistic disciplines for artists living and/or working in Geauga County. For further information, contact Joanne Durante, 440-729-6481.
