Are you a cat lover?
Are you a student with a flexible schedule who loves animals and needs community hours or wants to volunteer at a local organization?
Can you spare a couple of hours a week to work alongside folks who are fellow animal lovers?
Rescue Village is seeking volunteers to help clean cat cages from 8-10 a.m. weekdays. Morning cat cleaners are trained by staff and are greatly needed as this is one of the most time-consuming tasks here at the shelter. And believe it or not, it’s also one of the most enjoyable! If you are interested and can help out at least one day a week, please contact the Volunteer Coordinator, Lisa Ishee, at 440-338-4819 x 18.
Geauga Humane Society (GHS) has a proud history of being a leading animal welfare agency in Northeast Ohio since 1974. Also known as Rescue Village, animals are cared for until they find a new home, including those that are abused, sick or injured, those that may need behavior training, or those that simply need the gift of time. Animals are never euthanized due to age, special needs, or lack of space. If you have a heart for animals and want to learn more about their vision to provide care and forever homes for them, see their website.
