Suspense Writer James Grippando to Visit Geauga County, November 5th as Library Foundation’s Distinguished Speaker

 

Suspense fans won’t want to miss this year’s Distinguished Speaker event. James Grippando, a writer acclaimed for his legal thrillers, is coming to Chardon to talk about his work, in particular Gone Again, his 2016 multilayered legal mystery. Grippando creates intense drama with characters involved in high-stakes cash heists, murders and resourceful detective work. A courtroom lawyer himself, Grippando brings what-if scenarios to page-turning life with authority.

James Grippando is The New York Times bestselling author of 24 novels of suspense, including the popular series featuring Miami criminal defense attorney Jack Swyteck. His thirteenth Swyteck novel, Gone Again, was released March 1st. The Jack Swyteck series is acclaimed for its sustained excellence, and critics have called Gone Again his best work yet – in or out of the series.

Tickets to this event will be available at any Geauga Public Library location beginning in late September. A limited number of tickets to the author’s reception (which includes the program) are $20.00 and must be pre-purchased by Monday, October 31. Reception tickets will not be sold at the door. Tickets for the program only are $5.00 and will be available at the door the night of the program.
