Geauga Park District’s summer camps are a hot ticket this year, with spots filling fast for youth entering grades 5 through 10!

For $150, week-long Adventure Camps return with all the classic ways to get outdoors and enjoy the warm weather: pond exploration, sky navigation, canoeing, fishing, hiking, biking, picnicking, geocaching and more. Still available for youth entering grades 5 through 7 are the weeks of June 23, July 14, 28 and August 4; teens entering grades 8 through 10 can experience the fun the week of July 21.

Plus, new this year, teens entering grades 8 through 10 can sign up for single-day X-TREME Adventures at $30 each day: an Air and Space Challenge on Tuesday, July 1; a Cuyahoga River Kayak Challenge on Wednesday, July 2; an X-Treme Astronomy Challenge also on Wednesday, July 2; and a Natural Science Challenge on Thursday, July 3.

All camps begin at 9 a.m. and end at 3 p.m. Full weeks begin and end at The West Woods’ Affelder House on Route 306 in Russell Township; single days begin at different sites each day.
