Sixth graders from Burton Elementary visited the Geauga County Airport on Tuesday, September 23. The field trip was a part of Mrs. Duns and Ms. Hochschild’s math and science classes.
The students had built airplanes which they prepared to fly in one of the hangers. The students were divided into groups and learned about gliders, helicopters, planes, and experimental aircraft.
A special thank you to the staff and pilots at the airport who participated.
