Geauga Park District welcomes exhibitors of Nature-inspired artwork to apply for space in its 30th Annual Nature Arts Festival on Sunday, August 8, 10 a.m. to 5 p.m., at scenic Big Creek Park in Chardon Township.
This event is co-marketed with the Chardon Square Arts Festival to attract maximum attendance to both events. Exhibitor information can be found at the new www.geaugaparkdistrict.org under Activities, then Special Events & Art Shows, or at The West Woods Nature Center, open daily 10 a.m. to 4:30 p.m.
Applicants must submit at least four images of their artwork for jurying, including one of their display. Spaces are available indoors and outdoors. Wildlife artwork will be given preference over artwork depicting domestic animals.
“Geauga Park District is so excited to host this event, now in its 30th year,” said Teresa Runion, special events coordinator. “We really missed this community favorite last year due to COVID-19, so we’re even more excited to bring the arts back to Geauga County in 2021. And Big Creek Park so beautifully showcases Nature-inspired artwork among the trees – a perfect spot for a marriage between arts and Nature.”
