Flea Market Hosted By Geauga OHC Returns To West Woods

A favorite flea market, now hosted by the Geauga Ohio Horseman’s Council (OHC), is returning to the West Woods.

You don’t need a compass to find treasure in The West Woods. Discover lots of loot – and other adventures – at a unique flea market in a beautiful park setting.

The Geauga County Chapter of Ohio Horseman’s Council will host the Flea Market on Saturday, July 12, 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. at The West Woods’ picnic area, 9465 Kinsman Road, Russell Township. All proceeds from the event, and application fees for vendor spaces, will then benefit Geauga Park District’s Bridle Trail Fund.

Dozens of vendors will sell treasures such as antiques, collectibles, bird houses, jewelry (new and old), tools, toys, furniture, rugs, plants, handmade materials, soaps, general household items and other bargains galore.

And while you’re shopping in the picnic area, set aside some extra time to explore other treasures in the park. There is no place like The West Woods to tap into some discovery and fun. The West Woods Nature Center is currently host to an exhibit called Something’s Afoot: Nature Just Can’t Stay Put about Nature’s mobility. Also on display will be an art exhibition featuring the quilt artistry of Fran Soika.
