Offering a local shopping opportunity in one of the county’s most popular parks, Geauga Park District’s West Woods Wednesdays Farm Market returns this summer to the second Wednesday of each month, July to September – a one-stop shop for all your mid-week, farm-fresh needs.
Mark your calendars now for this year’s farm markets, all from 4:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m.:
- July 10th
- August 14th
- September 11th.
In addition to vendors providing all kinds of locally made/grown items, strolling musicians will provide ambient music – Rebecca Wohlever in July and September, Jesse Hugh in August, – plus, an onsite food truck will serve dinner and snack options for purchase. Come out after work and make it an evening in the park!
Approved vendors are already excited to bring you their vegetables, artisan bread, eggs, pork, turkey, flowers, herbs, nuts, wallets, candles, metal items, baked goods, purses and totebags, upcycled crochet rugs and bags, maple syrup, maple candy, caramel corn and more.
However, there is still more space under the shelter to sell, so Geauga Park District will continue to accept applications from interested farm market vendors. Visit the new www.geaugaparkdistrict.orgunder Activities, then Special Events & Art Shows, to find a link for the 2019 vendor application.
The West Woods is located at 9465 Kinsman Road (Route 87) in Russell Township. With questions, please call 440-286-9516.
