Bring the kids to the Geauga Fresh Farmers’ Market on Saturday, July 13, between 10:00 and Noon where the kids can be a chef when they make whole grain buckwheat blueberry pancakes with chef Matt Anderson of Umami Asian Kitchen in Chagrin Falls. There will also be face painting, free balloons, and a coloring activity. Hearts Desire Ice Cream Truck will also make its first appearance at the market. Blueberries from Blue Jay Orchard will just be coming in and available for purchase.
The Market is located in the South Russell Village parking lot at Rt. 306/Chillicothe Rd. and Bell Rd. Hours are 9:00-Noon every Saturday, rain or shine, until early October.
Products available at the Market also include seasonal fruits and vegetables, fresh baked goods, fresh eggs, maple syrup, honey, hand-made soaps and lotions, beef and poultry, goat cheese, jams and jellies, lemonade, artisan breads, mushrooms, potted and fresh herbs, spices, artisan jewelry, woodcrafts, and other local, hand-made items. The Geauga Fresh Farmers Market is a 501C3 organization organized in 2002 to provide local farmers and producers with a means to sell their produce and other products directly to consumers.
