Third graders at Park Elementary School recently completed a Social Studies unit on local government.
As a culminating activity the students held a mock city council meeting in class, then both third grade classes took a field trip to the Chardon Municipal Building to see what the real council chambers looks like.
They enjoyed meeting several city officials including the Mayor, City Manager, Municipal Judge and Police Chief.
