Seeking Citizens Advisory Members
The Kenston Board of Education created the Kenston Citizens Advisory Committee (KCAC) at its November 2006 meeting. KCAC was formed with the overall purpose to provide input to the Board on matters, financial and otherwise, as seen from the Kenston community’s perspective reinforcing the district’s vision statement that “an exemplary school district is committed to establishing and maintaining effective partnerships with its community.”
The Kenston Board of Education is now seeking two interested community members to serve either a two or three-year term on KCAC. The board will fill at least two positions created by expiring terms.
By Monday, April 1, individuals interested are asked to submit the following documents of application to: President, Kenston Board of Education, 17419 Snyder Road, Chagrin Falls, OH 44023.
- One page of why the applicant desires to serve on KCAC
- One page of resume data including background, education, experience, professional accomplishments and major strengths
- Two letters of recommendation
Interviews by the Board will take place in April with duties beginning the 2019/20 school year. It is desired that the membership is diverse in demographic and professional variables. The KCAC is comprised of twelve members including two members of the Board of Education. Community members serve for two or three-year terms. KCAC will have a minimum of four meetings per year.
