
The third year of the heART of Geauga Arts Jam is Saturday, June 27 in Chardon, Ohio.
From noon till 7:30, the Chardon Square, Gazebo and local restaurants will be filled with musical acts ranging from rock to country blues, gospel and ragtime. Arts activities will be scattered throughout including sing-alongs, instagram art, tech art, zentangle, photography, theater games, dance, watercolors, hula hoop contest, music, poetry, book talks, and so much more.
Arts Jam continues into the evening hours with a special performance at the historic Geauga Lyric Theater of Around the World in 80 Days at 7:30 pm.
Produced by the Geauga Lyric Theater Guild and directed by Angela Miloro-Hansen, the show features a cast of all ages and will incorporate cameo performances by local community members, including City Council (Nancy McArthur); a Township Trustee (Jim Dvorak), a business owner (Laura Christian/Sports Rack); a human services professional (Natalie Dolezal); and a reporter (Rose Neumunatis/Geauga Maple Leaf) in this steampunk stage version of the classic Jules Verne story.
