The Haunting of Hill House Opens Oct. 18 at Geauga Theater

Anyone looking for unique seasonal entertainment need look no further than the Geauga Theater in Chardon. The Haunting of Hill House, a psychological thriller which will open on October 18, promises to provide audience members with a new experience from Geauga Lyric Theater. By utilizing light and sound design and unique twists of the script, suspense will be heightened in director D. Roger Dixon’s chilling production.

During the run of the show patrons can enjoy not only a night of haunting theater, but a special art show in the lobby featuring eerie art and photography by area artists and students. The audiences of The Haunting of Hill House will have the unique opportunity to vote on their favorites in youth and adult divisions with the winners announced November 5.

The Haunting of Hill House, sponsored by H & R Block and written by F. Andrew Leslie adapted from the novel by Shirley Jackson, will run October 18 through November 3. Friday and Saturday evening performances are at 8 p.m.; Sunday performances are at 2 p.m.. Tickets are $15.00 for adults, $13.00 for seniors and students. Season passes are still available and can save patrons approximately 20% off the regular ticket price.
